At Bean & Gone, we herald the humble bean as a vessel for experimentation. In ancient Rome, some believed bean were portals for the dead, manufactured from “soul‐stuff”. Across cultures, folklore and suspicion have orbited these small seeds, from Japanese rituals that cast beans to ward off bad spirits to the hand‐me‐down tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. The mystical power of beans is cross‐culturally, and historically, stubborn.
Oddly, beans haven’t been utilised enough. Despite their brilliance, they’re still pretty underrated. Instead, brands lean on perpetual ingredient lists full of ultra‐processed, unpronounceable nonsense to make everyday treats and
objects.
At Bean & Gone, we strip everything all the way back to beans, summoning the elements of fire and ice to reshape them into mindfully designed objects and desserts.
We believe everyone has the right to enjoy the richly layered joy of a candle without the fumes of petroleum or other toxins. And the same goes for your ice cream. Why abandon fibre and gut‐friendly food just because you want
